I literally did a cannonball at a dive meet today. The two meter high splash soaked the judges. I got disqualified because I was supposed to do a reverse dive. (which I can't do) And I have to do a reverse tomorrow too... (because reverse week sucks)
The greatest feeling in the world is doing something you've wanted after waiting so long. Today I landed my reverse and I can't even explain the way that felt. It is by far the greatest thing in the world. After trying to land this dive for three months it was absolutely exhilarating! Being a first year diver as a senior on a varsity sport is hard enough, I use to dread going to practice because I was afraid they were going to make me do this dive but after doing it successfully a few times without smaking I have to honestly say is fun and now there is nothing to worry about. Next goal is finishing my lineup for the 11 dive meets next month.
