I know there are ways to reverse individual spells and singular magical workings - but does anyone know of a clean slate spell? Something to use to re-start your magical practice and dispel past magical workings?

To Undo a Spell - A Spell to Reverse the Effects of Another Spell

This spell is for those of you that tried to cast a spell, but cannot quite do it as it has to be done and it ends up with bad or weird consequences. This is NOT to be used to reverse black magick spells. This is just for harmless magick that unfortunately ended up badly. If you choose to practice any kind of magick to harm others, than this is not the blog or the spell for you! Thank you for understanding. You will need the following items for this spell:

Benzoin or Myrrh incense

White candles (as many as you like)

Angelica herbs (you can replace the angelica for any other herb that stands for protection and banishing - check out the basic herbs list - I would personally use cloves or rosemary)

A bead/amulet/pendant from a necklace you own (preferably a pearl, faux or not)

A small patch of black cloth

Some string for tying

This spell works best during the waning Moon period, any time at night, as long has it's after midnight. Make sure you use the necklace for a few days before casting this spell. This way, you will charge the bead/amulet/pendant with your own energy and give more power to it! If your tradition requires casting a circle, do it now. Place the white candles around your sacred space, the incense in your altar and light them. Take the bead/amulet/pendant and the herbs you choose and place them in the patch while saying these words: I cast a spell asking , I now ask the favor of having the spell removed. I understand to take back a spell means giving up something of my own to show my spirit is true and my intentions are good, I give this bead/amulet/pendant from a necklace I own. I transfer the spell into thee and render the spell dormant. No harm may come from the cancellation of this spell. No further power shall it have. This is my will, so be it. Tie the patch up tightly with the string until you have wrapped everything, entirely, in the cloth. Dribble a bit of wax from the candles on your final knot you tie. There are two different ways to finish this spell. It all depends on the tradition you follow:

Make sure to leave a nearby window open and throw the patch as far away as possible from your home, while your still in the circle. Now it's the time to banish the circle. In this case the residual energy attached to the patch will be stronger and this way there's no way it can dissipate outside the circle and 'pollute' your home.

But some might say that you disturb your circle energy by letting something get out of the circle without banishing it. That's why there's a second way to finish this spell: If you did cast a circle earlier, now it's the time to banish it. Only after banishing the circle, you get out of the house and throw the patch as far away as possible from your home. In this case, you don't disturb the circle energy and there are more possibilities to make the patch be as far away as possible, instead of just throwing it out the window.

In both cases, the idea is to get rid of that patch and never cross paths with it again! If you need to do this, I'll recommend that you cast a protection spell too and have a New Moon Cleansing Ritual Bath, just to get rid of residual energy from the other spell.
