Reverse squad Anon again. I had trouble thinking about Sero to. Kaminari learning about OFA. He would think he was joking and then when he realizes he isn’t he short circuits. Also Kirishima, Mina, and Kaminari will be hell bent on helping him control his quirk as their own do hurt themselves. Also Izuku with Full Cowling, Kri with RR unbreakable, Mina with Acid man.

but in all honesty, sero gives off very Sociable, Make The Most Out Of Everything While Also Taking No Shit energy, so I think that makes him a great addition to the R!DS, but it could also make him a bit like the “rule enforcer” (in the way that tenya is tradtionally). SO i’m thinking like, if we’re considering the moment where izuku went (with others) to go save bakugou after he was kidnapped by the LoV, I have it in my head that sero would be the one to go with izuku under the pretense of keeping him safe from his own recklessness (like tenya did). and now that I’m imagining the idea, I am really just in love with it jsbwjdbdejbdje sero is the Dad Friend in this beautiful world you’ve created nonnie and I am here for it
Reverse squad Anon here. I would be interest if you are willing to expand on my ask.Izuku and Kirishima friendship would make so much sense that they would bond. Also Izuku and Kaminari helping each other to better improve their control over their quirks. Mina helping him open up more and smile buddy Sero.
YESSSSSSSSSSS. so like, I think that one of the purposes that deku’s squad plays in connection to him specifically is giving him the people he needs to begin thriving as the social butterfly that he is and... while I don’t doubt for a second that that task could be done with any of the kids in 1-a, getting to see Izuku surrounded by those that seem more like the caring, loving jokesters of the class would fill my heart riiiiight up.
like, for kami and izu, I instantly started thinking of the sports festival. maybe things played out exactly as they did in canon, so that kami loses to shiozaki during the one-on-one fighting tournament. then, because we saw izuku taking notes in his analysis notebook since he’s getting to see other quirks in the different classes, he may try and cheer kami up after his match by giving him some helpful pointers about utilizing his own quirk while sympathizing with how difficult a vine-like quirk would be to combat, in general, let alone with the struggles they both experience with managing power output for their quirk. like you mentioned, that would be a great moment between them, where izuku could focus on one of his fellow classmates that struggle with maintaining the power of their quirk just like he does with one for all (and oh wow nonnie you’re highkey a genius. the more I think about the similarities between izuku and the Traditional Bakusquad, the more I feel like they would fit well within izuku’s immediate circle. kiri would be a good confidant to share his past of bullying/abuse with, kaminari could be an interesting person to tell one for all about first.... i am looking respectfully at these ideas jfebjfnje) but we can also see the love and support that’s shared between them.
similarly, like it was with kiri and the issue of the sludge villain incident, I would love to see izuku and mina bonding over how they both had a “I moved before thinking about it” moment when going to protect others (as we also see with mina going in to protect some other junior high students from gigantomachia). like you said, mina would do an excellent job of opening izuku up and maybe modeling confidence as a hero in the same way that she does for kirishima (like when she tells kirishima: “If you overcome that gloomy self of yours... let me know...” hinting at the idea that he has to go on his own journey to see himself as the hero that he is WHICH WOULD BE A GREAT POINT TO MAKE FOR IZU BECAUSE HE SEES HIMSELF AS AN ATTACHMENT TO ALL MIGHT SINCE HE GOT THE QUIRK FROM HIM and he still needs to work on defining himself, not as toshi’s successor, but as Deku, The Hero).
and tbh... I don’t know enough about sero to have any immediate ideas on his role in the Reverse Dekusquad (make sero a more primary secondary character dbjwbjbdw), BUT I WILL LOOK INTO HIM A BIT MORE if you’d like, so we can share those ideas as well because this is all really coming together toooooo well c:
Nana AU Anon who is also reverse squad Anon. Haha did not see that coming? I can imaging Izuku meeting All Might in the void and asking what his quirk was and he says he is quirkless. Meanwhile Izuku’s like 🙄 then asks how many pushups, sit-ups, and what juice did he drink. He would unlock Float with the excuse as a mutated latent version of his Mother’s quirk.
