Random yap but oomf on twitter mentioned that J is a romantic and I can't stop thinking about it. Like J would probably be the type to love in a care way than saying words. And after losing people like Paulina and Hollick, he definitely treats affection like something important to do while you still can because you never know when it'll be the last time you see that person. He cares in his own way like paying attention to someone's habit, offering help and etc.
And he'd definitely use his forging skills to make things nice for his loved ones like a badge for his buddies and since he probably can't afford a bouquet, he'd try to forge a flower himself. Real flowers die pretty quick so how about a forged one instead
