Call Of Duty Ghost Review 7.5/10
Call Of Duty, CALL OF DUTY!! This game is okay, of course I'm talking about the story. So today I finally completed Ghost the new, revitalized, reincarnated game by Infinity Ward. And I don't want to sound like a fan-boy or a hater. And For The Record (Get It). I have completed every Call Of Duty on the hardest difficulty (Veteran). Firstly this game wasn't that different from the rest in terms of graphical representation, tell a lie there is little twerks and some parts of the game look gorgeous. Explosions which are more common in this game are dramatic but sometimes are overdone and it just seems like they put them in for the hell of it, just my opinion no offense.
This game has space levels which is interesting if your a bit of a space geek like me, the colours and contrast is remarkable, this is something that Infinity Ward only previously visited during their game in 2009 with the Call Of Duty title Modern Warfare 2 (The best selling Call Of Duty game of all time) and that was a brief dramatic scene of planet earth with a sudden EMP shutting down the over watching space station/satellite whilst also spreading across America and various other parts of the globe.
But yeah in game space physics are a big leap forward I personally think they've pushed the boat out, its above average there are silly moments when the Ai thinks its Bruce Willis but overall it was not so much of a challenge just basic combat awareness, Million of floating dead space men :D
The story itself is something new. Its almost like a new beginning in the era of Call Of Duty A new story, new characters, kinda of same graphics which is like a downer if your on a 360 or PlayStation, The feel of the game is different it doesn't feel constricted and tight and the character Logan Walker feels more mobile, I think Infinity Ward create this by having scenarios that involve combat from different angles like from the side of a building or vehicle like a train for example.
The characters and cut scenes are more down to the point and the attitude of the characters show this no hesitation persona, some cut scenes are just shocking and so gripping it does make you feel uncomfortable whilst playing and that tarnished my performance in game. Something that no other Call Of Duty as ever done. So I ll give it that.
So my conclusion this game is good, I ll say it, I won't say its worth the full RRP I'd say £25 or £30 brand new is worth it. Because its technically the same game with some major twerks which is kinda why its not the full RRP. 18 campaign levels seems a good amount, because the campaign doesn't seem thin at all and they've got the correct consistency in terms of how things happen like deaths for example. And the half stealth, half action if you know what I mean. I'd say its good for a restablished chapter of Call Of Duty and I'm looking forward to the next game by Inifinity Ward.
Thanks for reading this posts, please question and add to this post and please feel free to correct me if you disagree or feel like I've missed something important I have tried to not let the cat out of the bag whilst describing the feature but this is I think personally this is a new chapter to the Call Of Duty Franchise a lot like Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare back in 2007.
