By a crackling fire the two shared a plaid red woolen blanket whom hugged her close with Brandon. With the decision communicated that they should go on get away for a weekend, the two automatically chose to go camping. It wasn’t meant to be romantic, the two were only friends and they didn’t expect anything to peek beyond that. That expectation was then changed when they spent the two days waking up and falling asleep together enclosed in a small tent.

The campfire sketched an ombre of crimson reds and tangerine oranges which illuminated their faces brighter than the moon. Shoving a roasting stick with a marshmallow on the edge into the fire, Hanmi waited til it turned a golden brown. Then she blew on each side and fed it to the man next to her with a grin.

A peaceful silence roamed the air while Hanmi rested her head on Brandon’s shoulder. She was satisfied with the fact that he actually allowed her to do such a thing. He didn’t seem like the type to favor skinship.

“Hey Brandon,” Hanmi hummed, turning her head towards his. “This may be kind of a disappointment to you but.. I think I like you.” She was never the type to confess first or even reveal her feelings. “And I really want to kiss you right now.” Her head twisted while leaning in to avoid noses awkwardly bumping into each other, and placed soft and gentle kisses onto his lips. Nibbling on his lower lip, Hanmi was already on his lap and the next second their tongues were already intertwined with each other.

With final realizations that the simple kiss went this far, she broke the kiss and smiled. “Your lips taste sweet.”
