I will defend Tashi Duncan until the day I die
I still love this narancia piece from 2019, so I figured I’d give it an upadate.
im so close to finishing cowboy bebop and like what am i gonna do with my life when i finish it.
i wanna watch tangled again but that requires me getting in bed before midnight and i gotta say, i don’t see that happening any time soon
So I was reading your post on Haykiuu and I was paying attention until u mentioned “Kuroko no Basuke” at which point my mind went “!!! She saw the anime!!! She mentioned my boys!!!” Did u like KnB? Who was ur favorite character?
*lol* Well now I’m sorry I distracted you halfway through my very upset rant about how a manga broke my heart! :O
Kuroko no Basuke was actually my... entry into the world of sports-anime! I was very resistent to it before because uuuh sports are evil why would I wanna watch animated sports. But a friend of mine cosplayed KnB and spent a whole three day convention talking about her love for it and she had gotten me hooked on other shit before so I figured “why not give it a try” and boy was it worth it, I don’t think I’d have EVER watched any of the various sports-anime I have devoured over the years had I not given KnB a chance and ended up enjoying it (well, mainly because I also would not have had an entrance point to the genre outside of that so it really would have never happened then xD).
Yeees, I liked KnB! It was a good entrance into sports-anime for me personally due to the... color-coding alone, to be very honest because I do come from a magical girl anime background, so that this sports-anime has these rainbow color coded main characters where every one of them has a special “power” was like a very good introduction to the genre.
I like them all, though Takao has a special place in my heart (Takao/Tetsu is my OTP. Yeah, I doubled down on the rarepair there...) and Tetsu himself, even though it always sounds so boring to say “the protagonist is a fave of mine” but then again why would you bother watching something if you can’t cherish its leading character?
It’s a really great and well-rounded sports-anime and I think anyone with a vague interest in the genre should watch it, because it’s such a... primary example of a good sports-anime.
TRISTAN IS SO FUCKING GREAT OKAY HE HAD SO MUCH ROOM FOR DEVELOPMENT I COULD WRITE AN ESSAY BUT ILL SPARE YOU
Hmmmmmmm I still don’t REMEMBER HIM
I’ve literally rewarched ODAAT 3 times since season 3 came out and am starting my 4th time. If this show gets cancled after all my rewatchs I will hunt Netflix down myself.
