Ibrahim's treatment of Nigar just goes to show he cared very little for what Esmanur actually needed and wanted and prefered to see her as a child to live what he couldn't through at the expences of her own personhood and her relationship with her mom... I will say tho, even when, at the end of the day, I'm not agree with the road they took with Nigar's character, she's portrayed in a rather heroic way during her tragedies and I never felt like the narrative condemns her, it rather condems the ppl who make her suffer aka Hatice, Hurrem, Rustem & Ibrahim [in regards to what they did to her, I mean], and gives her the opportunity to defend herself with dignity, which isn't something I'd see a writting with no sympathy for her doing
They always take a break from the pettiness to be gay for each other in extreme cases like this one 🥺
The girlies matching their curly hair up era <33
Oh. So I let myself get gaslighted by the fandom into thinking what made this discovery stupid was Suleyman never seeing the tattoo after two years of having Firuze as his concubine AND it turns out the dude isn't surprised at all by it being there and it's even addressed on the scene that he didn't know what it meant but he knew it existed. Granted, there were a million of better ways in which they could've revealed this plot twist that didn't involve the spy having a big ass (old) badge of the dynasty she belonged to on her neck, but, gosh, it isn't that unbelievable that this dude was so blinded by the ego feeding that it didn't even come to his mind that tattoo could mean something else, so that he could investigate it and realize the truth. And we know, later, that when he's poisoned he refuses to believe Firuze was the one to blame because he can't even imagine this woman didn't worship his ass and he was deceived from the start, so nope this isn't the show being stupid, it's Suly being it!!
Love how Mahi came dressed as "Suleyman's spring rose" btw, maybe it actually makes sense that she never wore this iconic look again as she would never regain that position on Suleyman's heart
Ooh 💔
