Why didn’t they use that mind-speak/ telepathy thing more often??? Like???
Mordred just chatting in his mind to Emrys abt every little thing he hears or sees and then there’s just merlin in his room, head in his hands, trying to figure out how to get him to stop.
A Druid passing through Camelot and seeking out others like them. Merlin doing his chores and hearing someone, someone like him. And just feeling this overwhelming longing. He longs to belong to his people but cannot. Not with Arthur hating magic.
Little critters and creatures, calling out through magic, begging to be saved and merlin having to sit and listen. And do NOTHING.
Druid camps being massacred, screaming to Emrys to save them. But he cannot. Not if he wants to unite Albion once and for all. He has to wait. And hope. And pray. He has to listen to them scream and beg.
Druid children, playing and laughing and singing. Merlin sitting in Arthur’s chambers with a smile on his face listening to their giggling. Arthur asking him what he’s smiling abt and he has to say nothing. Because he cannot know.
