Beavers are nature’s ultimate engineers. By building dams, digging canals and keeping water in the landscape, they can turn dry land into thriving wetlands full of biodiversity.
They were nearly wiped out but against all odds, they’ve made an incredible comeback.
Our partner Rewilding Oder Delta is helping secure that return. That's why we teamed up with them for our 41st mission, and purchased a 20-hectare abandoned fish farm in Poland to turn into a natural beaver paradise.
