So the pretty girl wishing Rewind a happy birthday is @underewind's Frisk. She was adopted by (Queen) Toriel and Rewind after she completed the Neutral route and five years before the RESETs started. So basically, she was Rewind's surrogate daughter, no blood relations whatsoever.

This poor girl has been stuck in UndeRewind's void (with a certain someone) for at least a year, unable to leave and forced to observe the havoc her "evil" doubleganger (Rewind!Chara aka Brat) created during the corrosive and corrupted RESETs. (Frisk can be seen in the background and stuck in the void in the image below:)

After Rewind managed to leave the AU and started voyaging, Frisk remained stuck for another two years in the void and was all by herself throughout those years, watching the survivors try and cope with the unraveling of their home. Her so-called "companion" managed to escape before Rewind took his leave. Due to it being the void, this 15-year-old girl never aged and still wears the same nightgown and slippers she wore during the very first RESET.

She was finally freed from UndeRewind's void by Core and offered sanctuary in the Omega Timeline when UndeRewind itself was on the very brink of getting completely deleted from existence. A few other UndeRewind characters are also present in Omega though most of the inhabitants were permanently deleted, either before or during the AU's deletion.

The meeting/reunion in the birthday comic is also when Rewind gets confirmation that his home universe/timeline is gone. He had his suspicions; his ShortCUT scissors were unable to find and access UndeRewind whenever he tried to return home after finally gaining full control over the weapon's portal abilities. This is also the point where he decides to give up on his mission to save his AU and revive his brother (because what's the point after he failed?), and return to his lover to stay with him instead.

I have a rather stupid question, but what would happen if rewind sans ended up in the pacifist universe of UnderRwind in which everything is fine, and met another self, rewind Frisk, and Papyrus? (similar question, only with Reverse Sans)

Nothing because I decided since the creation of UndeRewind exactly four years ago (it's the AU's anniversary today, yay~) that there would only ever be one Neutral route and then only Genocides after that, and that includes True Genocide which is where Reverse is from.

So no "what ifs" on this one, sorry.

Why would Ghost need to forgive her in the first place? Ghost doesn't remember the life before the RESETs, along with all the RESETs that followed until his final "death". Heck, he doesn't even remember being her uncle during those five years before the RESETs began xD

Besides, the killing blow he does remember was dealt by Brat, and Ghost (as a spirit) has been observant enough to understand that Frisk and Brat are two different entities.

And of course he's very thrilled when he finds out his brother once-upon-a-forgotten-time adopted a child and that this child is alive and well. He'd be ecstatic!

There is no malice, no wrongdoing, no betrayal and there is therefore no need to give or ask for forgiveness when it comes to these two in particular.

That lore drop has me wondering... Does Rewind know it was Brat that caused the RESETs and not his daughter? Would he still accept Frisk despite the trauma Brat caused? I feel so bad for them both. I just wanna hug them (uh... more Frisk than Rewind. I'd give him a Hershey's Hug instead 😅)

He does. Brat didn't keep it a secret that they took over Frisk's body and that Frisk was elsewhere or maybe gone. It was part of their many taunts and boasts.

Rewind will not outright accept Frisk suddenly popping back up in his life. In fact, he leaves every survivor of his home where they are and has no plans of dropping by for a visit. He failed them, friendships were few after the final RESET, everyone has gone through a lot before and after Rewind left, and well, he is going to try and build up a new life and finally find some happiness.

And yeah, trauma is still buzzing loudly. He won't cut ties completely with Frisk, he isn't that heartless, but they will both agree it is for the best to go their separate ways. Maybe they'll meet again in better circumstances and with better/more stable mindsets. Who knows! At least they both have a future and that's what matters.

Does Rewind!Sans and Frisk have a sort of father-daughter relationship?

Not anymore x'D

But in the past? Yes, sorta. Frisk was adopted by Rewind!Toriel and Rewind!Sans after she defeated Asgore and Toriel became queen. The "happy little family" lasted for about five years before the RESETs began.

Translation: most likely you once answered such a question, but UndeRewind still exists after the departure of Rewind, you answered some questions that local Asgore, Alphys and possibly Flowey survived in UndeRewind. And another question, if it’s not difficult, answer that with the soul of Frisk / Charm she remained in the underwind, or did Reywind take her with him?

It isn't known if UndeRewind still exists at this point. It did for a while after Rewind left but it was already falling apart.

Before Rewind settles down in Huntertales, he does try and return home but isn't able to for some unknown reason. It's like he was either locked out, somehow, or the AU had vanished from the multiverse. He then assumed he was too late with saving it from its destructive corruption and that the AU had either crumbled completely, or that someone like Error!Sans had dealt with it through deletion. But Rewind was never a 100% sure about UndeRewind's fate. That's the mystery about UndeRewind~
