Once again, at the dinner table both of them sat, silently eating at the sound of their silverware echoed throughout the room. his father attempted to talk to him, but Noctis wasn’t particularly in the mood, more so today then any other. “ Well, I’m done. I’ll see you later dad.. “ Just as he stood up, and about to take his leave, his father halted him, telling me to come over to his side. An eyebrow raised but he could not deny his request. Walking over, he crossed his arms and awaited for him to speak. “ Yeah? What is it? “

Regis simply smiled as he reached over and started to feel up his stomach. “ What are you..no..no stop! “ Tickling him mercifully, Noctis couldn’t help but let out his laughter. It started out small, but soon the room now echoed with sounds of joy. 

His father had a few laughs himself now seeing his son filled with some bit of happiness. ‘ There’s that smile. ‘

After Noctis calmed down a bit, he gave his usual sly smirk as he looked away from his gaze. “ Heh..thanks dad. “
