Honesty hour: I'm a little disappointed with how my recital went. I messed up so many things that I have never messed up before, and some things were just horrible. But there were some things that were amazing and lovely. I'm very, very critical of my playing, so this is a hard one for me to stomach. I can honestly say it was okay. Decent. It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't terrible either. I just expected more out of me. I just need to listen to the recording, then I'll be more at peace. There's nothing I can do about it now. I just wish it had gone a little better. Just one piece. :( Oh well. C'est la vie.
Tomorrow is scary. Terrifying. A physical manifestation Of my greatest fears. Performing And disappointment. Failure. Can I pull it off? Can I make it work? Can I? Can I? I don't know the answer.
My recital is in 2 fucking days. OH MY GOD. How do I even deal with this. Like. I can't even.
