回 = patching a wound - @rexinvicta
Hearing the sound of approaching footsteps, Fidelio glanced up from the chessboard. He'd taken note of the commotion on the ship's deck, but defending the gauntlet runner wasn't one of his duties. Unless of course Lady Junah was in need of his aid.
When golden eyes fell on the elda, his attention shifted back to pondering the game before him. He still couldn't fathom what Lady Junah saw in this rag tag group, and much to his irritation, even despite his warnings, it seemed Basilio was taking a liking to them as well. Someone here had to keep a level head.
Fidelio pretended not to notice as the elda removed his coat to tend to a wound, likely received from whatever skirmish had just taken place. Though the tip of his tail began to flick in irritation as he watched from the corner of his eye. What was he doing? He was wrapping the dressing too tight, and he hadn't even cleaned the wound properly first!
❝Tch.❞ Lowering his feet to the floor, Fidelio strode over to the elda with his bag in hand. ❝'f you can' even tend a wound properly, maybe you're not such a threat after all. If you wrap it tha' tight, you're just gonna cut off the circulation.❞
Without waiting for permission, the paripus shoved the other's hands out of the way, tending to the wound himself, even utilizing his own supplies to do so. After all, the elda had saved him earlier against the sea beast, or at least that's how he'd justified his actions to himself.
❝Don't forge' ta change this tomorrow, and you can keep the rest of tha' salve, I've go' plenty.❞ Once the injury was properly dressed, Fidelio stepped back, crossing his arms over his chest as he averted his gaze. ❝And don' go thinkin' I did this 'cuz I like you or anything. I jus' can't stand seein' someone flounderin' like that.❞
