character in general: When I first heard about Rex, it was through my best friend (bakingxbeauty) when she was super obsessed with Chris. She kept telling me about the Horrible Bosses movies, and I finally caved and watched them, and when I saw Rex, I was just like--- “he’s such an asshole.” I thought he would get better, but as the movie went on and on, I just kept going “.....hE’S STILL AN ASSHOLE, WHY DO I STILL KIND OF LIKE HIM??? HIS BAD GUY-NESS GIVES ME A MIGRAINE WTF.” By the time I finished the movie, I was really confused and I was basically just like, “.....what the fuck did I just watch?” Movie!Rex I kinda just want to slap upside the head.how they play them: See, YOUR version of Rex is a whole other story. You play him SO accurately, but at the same time, I don’t just want to slap him upside the head, part of me also just wants to pull a Lilo and Stitch and make a chart of his badness level and knock some sense into him. He’s got the bad guy asshole vibe, but your version is also the type that makes me go, “you’re an ass, but I still like you. I’m probably crazy for it, but whatever.” Idk if that even makes sense?????the mun: She’s gr9 and I love her so much!! I really really love her portrayal of Rex and just asdjsfksdfjd yes uwu

overall opinion: yO IF YOU’RE NOT FOLLOWING THIS REX, LOOK AT YOUR LIFE. LOOK AT YOUR CHOICES. I kid, but seriously, this Rex is perf <3333

Remy doesn’t bother glancing around to see whom she might be talking about since it doesn’t really matter what the guy looks like when she chose him of all people to ask a favor. There’s a short pause while he gives the woman a quick once-over, and though she’s attractive, the laziness that makes up a large part of his personality is urging him to let this one go. A possible fling in bed is probably not worth his time, after all.

Going out on blind dates was anything but a common occurrence for the son of a wealthy business man. Nevertheless, Rex found himself waiting inside one of fanciest restaurants that Los Angeles had to offer. The man had more than enough money at his disposal in order to make reservations, just one of the many perks that came with owning millions. As of now, he was currently waiting for his date to arrive. Not exactly a term he used too often, especially since he was more so accustomed to one-night stands. At least that way he could leave the following morning and continue on with his usual routine.

After hearing the name of the restaurant she was meant to be meeting the mystery male at, Veronica almost immediately blanched. It was... So expensive. But the date was already set up, so she’d have to borrow a dress and attempt to seem like she could handle being with someone of such a higher social class. She arrived about five minutes early, and was looking forward to spending some time just people-watching. She had little time to prepare, however, as her gaze was drawn to a very handsome man looking about as disgruntled as she felt. One only needed about five seconds of courage, according to some ridiculous movie she had watched on an airplane. Letting her nail dig into her palm, Veronica advanced speak to him. “Hello,” she said, forcing a bright smile, “er, Rex? Otherwise I apologize for inconveniencing you, sir.”

Camping wasn’t exactly her idea of fun. She was all for adventures, but camping out in the great outdoors for a few days, surrounded by bugs and wild animals with Rex of all people wasn’t what she had in mind. Granted the site did have showers, so it wasn’t all bad. Navigating the map, however, was a different story. “I believe we’re turning onto I-40 next… or is it I-75?“ There was the crinkling of paper as she flipped it around. “No that’s definitely I-40.″ And as they drove along the interstate, it was almost impossible to miss the huge sign screaming WELCOME TO TENNESSEE "Shit!"

Rex didn’t even bother attempting to prevent the laugh from passing his lips upon hearing the plot twist to the story. One-night stands were a fairly common occurrence for the male. It was far better than going into a relationship. So long as he was able to get a good fuck out of the arrangement, what more was needed? “Good choice. It’d be terrible to end a perfectly good evening on a bad note.” He hardly noticed the stares that the two now received in the bar. It wasn’t like he wasn’t accustomed to being the center of attention, even though it was Jack giving the story. But that part wasn’t important. “So, you have no idea what happened to the drunken, passed out girl?”

“Nope.” Jack answered, exaggerating the ‘p’. “I honestly don’t even remember her name.” 

He continued to drink alcohol even though he was already beyond drunk.
