It was their first meeting.

While Syake certainly found tutoring to be a helpful source of income, it wasn't necessarily the most reliable of jobs. Nevertheless, the latest call for help which he'd received was from a rather curious student -- one of rather impressive birthright, to boot. It was a chance he simply could not turn down, regardless of his own personal feelings on the matter.

Syake's home was located right on the beach with a comfortably-sized porch facing the ocean. The house itself wasn't a particularly large one, however it held a soothing atmosphere, waves audible from many rooms of the building. If he awoke early enough, he sometimes found it possible to watch dolphins swimming by the horizon, fins visible over the shimmering water.

Opening the door, a cheery smile came to his features, russet hues alight with welcoming warmth.

They were of similar age, however that hardly meant he would deny the other assistance. Chipper smile still just as evident, Syake moved to step forward, one pale hand offered forth to be shaken. "I'm Syake." Of course. Smile growing, he stepped aside, holding the door open for the blond. A lesson in international relations... the white-haired male had a feeling the following hour would prove to be interesting.
