Discovered - (Farore and The Voice)
It had been weeks since Farore had begun working in the brothel. It wasn't honorable work but it kept food on her plate and left a little extra money for her to begin saving so that she might one day leave New Hyrule. She had to be careful though, she put on her wig as soon as she woke up in the morning and pinned it heavily to both the cap and her own hair so that it couldn't just be pulled off of her. The customers never seemed to notice and the other members of the brothel had never seen her without it and didn't seem to care.
Until about three weeks after she'd started, that is. It was after another night spent with a soldier. Something she did regularly now, though she was amazed at how many of them visited such places, only this time had been different. He had tugged at her wig, which was why she took the precaution of pinning it, and it had begun to slip off which had made her panic. She had pushed him away and told him that he had to leave without paying. He had gone, but the next day the head of the brothel had begun asking about the wig.
She evaded the questions but she still took the wig off when she slept. And that was how they got her. She heard the door open, even in her sleep, and she knew that it was over. She looked to the door, only just long enough to take in the guards standing by it, before jumping out of bed and rushing to the window, trying to open it and jump out into the street. She almost had one leg out the window when she felt the armored hands slipping under her arms and dragging her back into the room. She struggled and kicked and continued to do so all the way back to the Church, even after being tied up and thrown into a guarded carriage.
Finally, she was brought to The Voice's room. She quivered with fear, knowing that whatever happened in there it would end well for her. She was now only handcuffed, but there was no point struggling now. The doors opened, she was walked inside and sat down in a chair facing the only desk in the room, then the guards finally left.
She sat, and waited for the Voice to speak.
