I cannot find any information on how Reynaldothewizard got his name. But Wizards are always cool.
This ten year old warrior started his career in the United States but fell in love with a track overseas where he seems to be loving his job. He won his maiden way back in 2008 at Churchill Downs, moving into stakes from there to finish third in the Saratoga Special Stakes. He raced once more in 2008, finishing 10th in the Lane's End Breeders' Futurity.
He raced three more times in 2009, in two Allowances and the San Miguel Stakes in the United States but did no better then third. In 2010, he arrived at Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, and won two Handicap races there in a row. He only raced twice in 2010, three times in 2011, and four times in 2012. In that time he won a Condition race.
He raced three times in 2013, winning a conditions race before winning the Mahab Al Shimaal and Dubai Golden Shaheen on Dubai World Cup Day. He raced three times in 2014, and twice in 2015, adding the 2015 Dubawi Stakes and Al Shindagha Sprint to his winning roster.
He has raced three times in 2016, winning the 2016 Dubawi Stakes. As he seems to be a very lightly raced horse - which probably helps him at his age, there's a good chance he may only run once more or not at all again this year.
