Oh man this is a hard one because a lot of the stuff I have current grouchy feelings about is also currently-running and I maintain hope for some cosmic payback on a few things.

That said, I have two from ended shows for entirely different reasons (one of which may get some people mad at me).

The obvious one - Kate on Teen Wolf. I do see the finale as kinda ambiguous regarding her fate, and she is a bit of a cockroach so I do run a lot of my post-series stuff with the detail of “crazy bitch is probably still out there SOMEWHERE making life hell for OTHER PEOPLE”. But god she frustrates me so much as a character in the “I’ve known too many people like that” kinda way - girls who got out of my subculture background Very Badly - and I would’ve liked to have seen a body, y’know?

The more personal one - Wyatt on Timeless. Maybe I am just hella biased because different ship preferences + that show helped me realize my relationship dynamic at the time was unsalvageable, but... good grief. Far as I am concerned, THAT “finale” did not happen. I have rarely ignored an ending that hard y’all. Something very bad should’ve happened to that asshole, and nothing did, and it has been three-ish years and I remain very annoyed.

I read fic sorta selectively - I do read for some ships a lot more than others, sometimes due to availability and sometimes due to not liking the common fandom interpretations. Favorite fics / authors... honestly not offhand.

Choose between: Kabby and Chris/Melissa

Okay this has been hanging out in the drafts for... a couple weeks? And I haven't done it because oh my god this is HARD.

Like on the one hand, Kabby is THE ship. Latched on seven years ago, almost walked away twice (both times due to personal overlap), still here and still absolutely wrecked by them. They were somehow the most consistent part of that show, I will never be over it... still a MAJOR ship for me.

And if you'd asked me them vs almost anything else, they would've won. But no.

Chris/Melissa is... cute canon rarepair and honestly if I hadn't blacklisted Teen Wolf to hell and back like I had and I'd seen a certain gifset three or four years ago I would've gone down that rabbit hole so much earlier. They've been my primary ship, consistently, for the past YEAR. And they are very sweet and life-affirming and the worst they get is a bit of communication fail / a very bad first impression, which is unusually cute for ships I get into (usually I latch onto babes who've tried to kill each other) and the relationship is a very sweet ending after each of them goes through so much shit individually. It feels EARNED and it WORKS. So, they win.

Choose between: Octavia or Charlie from Rev.

Tough question because both of them happened to me at the same time / represent about the same era of my life (January 2014 vs April 2014 isn’t that much of a time gap / personal evolution here)...right now I’m gonna go with Octavia just because she got better outfits and her story got decent closure.

Zutara + 46: "Go back to sleep"

Usual post-series domestic cute. PG-ish.

They both get nightmares still.

Five years since Katara slipped into this bed, three since she officially became Fire Lady. She is twenty-two and has lived so much life already, has earned the quiet she wants, and yet-

It is the middle of the night, and like too many nights before it she wakes up to the sound of her husband’s screaming.

She reaches for him in the darkness, grabs his wrist because that’s closest. On other nights she’s tried to tackle him and use the full weight of her body to comfort, but that’s hit or miss when he’s still not in control of his body – and too many times leaning towards hit. A half-conscious man who’s built like a tree can do a lot of unintentional damage, and this is just one of the less fun things she signed up for in exchange for all of the good ones, and-

“Zuko. Hey. Wake up. I’m here. It’s alright.”

In the darkness, his eyes open and flash golden. The worst is over. Now for the still-awkward parts.

1. Who makes the other hot chocolate?

Alex. He likes tea better than hot cocoa, but he’ll make Willie all the hot chocolate with whipped cream and mini marshmallows just to kiss the whipped cream off whenever he gets one of those mustaches. 

4. Who puts up the Christmas lights?

They do it together. Alex is taller, but he’s also kind of afraid of heights. So Willie will do the stuff that goes over Alex’s head and Alex will make sure everything is perfect so his OCD doesn’t go crazy. And they don’t own a ladder, so Willie will climb on Alex’s shoulders and string up lights.

6. Who bakes cookies?

I already answered this in the first Willex questions you sent me, babe.

12. Who looks best in a jacket?

Alex wants to believe it’s her, but you know it’s Sam. Sam looks amazing in a jakcet, especially one of Alex’s leather ones.

18. Who is the best gift giver?

I know this is AgentReign, but I feel like Ruby gives the best gifts. She’s really good at picking out gifts for people.Although Sam is also really good at giving gifts. Alex just gets everyone weapons or alcohol.
