Recently put in a request for time off so I can volunteer at the royal family kids camp

didn't exactly get the answer I was looking for 😥

Right now my manager doesn't think I'll be able to

I'm listed as the 2nd person for that week though so she said if we're slow that month (since it'll be summer) that she'll have no problem giving me the time off, so that's my only hope! That we're slow!

This camp means so SO much to me and I haven't NOT been able to be a part of it in 10yrs (last year we had to do it a little differently obviously but I still got to take part in it)

Really need prayers everything will work out in my favor!! Couldn't imagine not being there!!

it’s still only the first weekend of january and i’m already dreaming about being back at the royal family kids camp! which isn’t until the end of june so ready to get back to camp and impact the lives of children in the foster care system

these children are so full of love despite everything and all they really want is to know that there are people out there who love them and want them and want to spend time with them, not because they’re paid by the system to do so, not because we have to, not because someone is making us, but because we REALLY want to be with them, love on them, spend time with them, teach them, and sometimes even wipe away a few tears and lend a listening ear and just simply LET THEM BE KIDS without having to worry about where they’re going next, who is going to take care of them, or whats gonna happen to them next

royal family kids camp has not only changed the lives of my campers i’m sure, but its also change MY LIFE and it has changed ME

Still recuperating from this past weeks Rfk kids camp. Amazing week with amazing team! I hope that the seed that these foster kids will always have a better life than what they have now. I was drawn close to these kids in a special way and I will always continue to pray for them. Cob webs are shaken off for me and ready for more, ready to serve, ready to fight. Love my boys-John, Jaace, Nick and the rest of the counsellors standing in the gap for them. For those of you that don't know RFKC (Royal Family Kids Camp) is a Camp that takes a year of planning. It's a week (5 days) long camp for abused & neglected foster children from ages 6-11. They get to come to camp & just be kids and be treated like royalty. We get an oppurtunity to be the positive in all their negative. Jeffs vision of softening a hardened heart was just not for them, but was especially for me. So thank you guys! Love all of you! #tietuesday is on hold today because I am spending my week with an amazing good of volunteers for the Royals Family Kids Camp... I am here helping support the big camper (volunteers) with their little camper (the kids)... #rfkc
