When no one was watching, Taeil loved to have his own fun. While he wouldn’t admit to the jealousy he harbored for regular benders (and humans, even), his spite as well as his resentment were both very obvious. Despite his internalized feelings of envy, though, Taeil found there to be many perks in being a cuspian. In fact, it made him feel stronger--and he was quite the power hungry boy.
And when all eyes fell on him, Taeil felt a rush--but he felt unsafe. He yearned for those times when he could blow wind and steal hats; he loved when he could splash water on unlucky bystanders if they looked at him funny; and boy did Taeil adore those moments where he could do both. And when no one was watching, thats when he could be truly mischievous.

He snickered like a little boy at the misfortunes he caused and then realized, to his horror: someone had been watching him. A boy, no older than Taeil, was looking right in his direction.
“Did... You didn’t see that, did you?” Taeil asked nervously, approaching him.
