Rhaena Targaryen, on the day of her marriage to her uncle Maegor Targaryen.
Random thoughts about asoiaf queens who were - and never were
It's curious how Alyssa Velaryon-Targaryen-Baratheon is mother to three distinct, intertwined lines of queens and potential queens through all of her daughters
1. Rhaena Targaryen The Black Bride was a firstborn child who never became a ruling queen, only consort queen and "unofficial" queen, being passed in line by her own brother-husband Aegon (and both were usurped by Maegor) and later by her younger brother Jaehaerys, receiving an empty title and a castle as compensation (she's still one of the most legendary queens from Fire and Blood though!)
→ her daughter Aerea shortly was named heir by Maegor, but later was surpassed by Jaehaerys
2. Alysanne ruled efficiently as consort queen, and hers is a line of women who managed to become queens, either as consorts or as effective rulers
→ her daughter Daella was mother to another consort queen, Aemma
→ in turn, Aemma Arryn was mother to Rhaenyra Targaryen who only ruled for half a year, usurped for the fact of being a woman in a misogynistic society. More importantly, Rhaenyra is the literal mother and ancestor of all the following Targaryen kings
3. Jocelyn Baratheon gave birth to a line of Queens Who Never Were, and Jocelyn herself never got to be queen consort, as Aemon died before becoming king
→ Her daughter Rhaenys Targaryen is literally known as The Queen Who Never Was, being robbed of her rights for the only reason of being a woman
→ due to that same reason, her firstborn Laena Velaryon was never considered a possible queen
→ Laena's daughters Baela and Rhaena Targaryen could have become queens in more occasions during their lives: Baela could have been consort queen to Jacaerys, and later a ruling queen if Aegon III's council had decreed so; Rhaena too was considered a possible heir for Aegon III, but the council happily discarded both of their claims once a living male heir showed up again, Viserys
These are all women who lived in a relatively short span of time, and most of them lived in the same period and were close to each other. So many women, but few crowns and fewer possibilities due to the mere and stupid fact of their gender
