so i told my father the story about Martin Gore recording "Somebody" naked. By which I mean the bit where Dave et al. pranked Martin by sending the German tech girl downstairs while Martin was recording. Ever since I told this tale, my father has referred to Martin Gore by the epithet of 'Achtung Schlongen', and it's honestly just getting funnier and funnier all the time to me

isn't there something about the small and unintentional parts of people that are really beautiful once you notice them? like yeah my old roommate bursts into silly fake accents when she's nervous or having fun. yeah my dad's nose is a little crooked from where his brother broke it when they were teenagers. yeah my friend's cheeks scrunch up into his eyes when he's laughing especially hard. yeah my girlfriend has dimples and now I notice them every time she smiles. I don't know what I'm talking about but I think people are poetry or something like that

Soooo this may be the last post queued in a while, since there's a LOT going on in my life now in relation to band and stuff and I just don't have the time or energy to go through Tumblr right now. I promise I'll come back, but it'll be in a few weeks once this has all died down. Just letting you know since you're great followers and I'm thankful for all of you

things i would like to do with my hair but will never commit to

dye it red and keep it at a bob and pretend I’m Dana Scully

bleach it and dye it pink/lavender and pretend I’m cool

cut it again to a super short pixie so I feel like a super punk rock adorable badass

instead I’m just gonna keep growing it to shoulder length so I can french braid it and put it in a nice bun with a bow or flower on the side and curl it sometimes
