Jey knocked on the women’s locker room door. Naomi opened it and stepped outside.

“What’s up with Rhea?”

“She’s nervous. We tried calming her down, hyping her up, but I can still tell she’s overthinking. I figured she could use a distraction.”

“Mhmm. After you told me to stay away,” Jey said, crossing his arms and grinning.

Jey shook his head, still smiling as she went back in the locker room.

His smile got bigger when Rhea came out. She looked amazing in her new gear. She also looked like she was gonna vomit.

“It’s okay. Come here,” Jey said, holding his arms out.

“I’m so nervous,” Rhea said, pulling him into a hug.

Jey squeezed her tight. “No need to be nervous. You’re gonna do great.”

Rhea squeezed him tighter. Jey gave her a kiss on the forehead and gently broke the hug.

He started jumping up and down and shaking his arms. “Come on. Let’s loosen up.”

Rhea look confused.

“Trust me,” Jey said.

Rhea jumped and shook her arms as well.

Jey stopped and leaned in, looking serious. Rhea stopped too, looking even more puzzled.

“You are Rhea Bloody Ripley. The Eradictor,” Jey started. Rhea smiled.

“You’ve been the Women’s Champion. You won the Royal Rumble after coming in at number one. You survived losing your family. You survived heartbreak.”

Rhea leaned in. Their foreheads were almost touching.

“When they tried to make you look weak, you only came out looking stronger! There’s nothing you can’t do. Are you ready to brutalize Liv Morgan and her wack ass team?!”

“Hell yeah!” Rhea roared.

“Go get your team and do it then!”

Rhea planted a kiss on his cheek before running in the locker room to hype her team up.

Jey grinned and headed back to his locker room to lock in for his own match later that night.
