I have done this (or something similar) for Isathe, so I will go to my other babies - Rhéla & Geldauran.

Rhéla

(Flower) Sunflower: I chose sunflower because it represents adoration, loyalty, and longevity. Symbols of happiness, warmth, and resilience.

(Weather) Shelf Cloud: These are wedge-shaped arcus clouds that form along the edge of a thunderstorm's outflow. Rhéla is a bit dual harder on the outside but softie in the inside kind of character.

(Color) Golden Yellow

(Food) Cinnamon Roll: Feel like this one is self explanatory but I generally describe her as the black cat girlfriend with a secret cinnamon roll center.

(Beverage) Iced Chai Latte: A little sweet, a little spice and refreshing.

(Object) Lighter: Vorgoth calls her Little Pyre, and Geldy often compares her hair to a campfire.

(Place) Plains: Vast freedom, potential, places of decision, and divine interaction.

(Animal) Red Fox: Intelligent, cunning, adaptability, along with wit, survival and they're pretty goofy and cute. ;)

Geldauran

(Flower) Prairie Fire: Pioneering passion with a new, bold direction in life. Associated with intense love. Resilience, new beginnings, change.

(Weather) Heat Burst: A heat burst is when there is a sudden, intense hot wind that emerged from dying thunderstorms. Often represents divine judgement.

(Color) Burnt Orange

(Food) Chili: Hearty, a little spicy and comfortable.

(Beverage) Black Coffee: Classic ;)

(Object) Cowboy Hat: No explanation necessary.

(Place) Mesa: Mesa are flat/table-like plateaus that overlook plains. They represent stability, perspective and grounding.

(Animal) Bear: When he was a Forgotten One, he was the God of War and Strategy and his mask was of a bear. They represent raw power, strength and are seen as guardians, and represent fierce, protective action.

“Alright, darlin’, we’re gonna have a little chat.” The Sheriff sauntered into the room - all strut and no hurry - before tossing his hat down unceremoniously on top of the desk. He dropped into the chair across from her; the old and worn leather creaking under his weight as it settled below him. With a small jut of his chin toward the computer screen, he spoke again. From where she sat, the screen showed Rhéla’s department photo, along with what she assumed to be her full service file from Brecilian County. The Sheriff’s green eyes dropped from the monitor and met hers, “Looked up your badge number, Deputy Ghilain. And I gotta say… seems like you got a real eye for trouble, or just some nasty luck.”

Everything was going smoothly - until Sheriff Geldauran barrels in like a druffalo in a glass shop and disrupts an undercover operation in his jurisdiction - blowing Rhéla’s cover and destroying months of hard work. Now, Geldauran has to help her fix the mess he made and salvage her case. Can intimate stakeouts, a bit of Geldauran’s warm cowboy charm, and some luck turn it around?

HIGHER THAN A NUG IN A TWISTER It had been one of those once-in-a-lifetime type of storms, the news touting it as some historical event. Ostagar didn’t get snow, or at least never like this. The forecast had declared it a snow emergency, the first in years, and now the whole damn county was losing their collective minds. Store shelves barren - people hoarding food, water, and toilet paper of all things. He was just glad they both had the day off to hunker down at his place. The chaos from the storm would be their problem for tomorrow, but for tonight, he'd lit a fire in the fireplace. It bathed the living room in a subtle, golden glow and warmed the air enough to be comfortable. Geldauran relaxed in his armchair close to the fire, focused entirely on her. Rhéla knelt on the couch that sat in front of the window, looking outside at the storm as the snowflakes floated on the wind, her campfire curls dusting her shoulders in their usual untamed mess. That stupid, charming grin - as Rhéla coined it - of his plastered across his face. “Well now, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet. This is just gettin’ started.” He had seen many storms across many lives, but watching her like this? Was like experiencing something new and old all at once, “You look like a kiddo on Satinalia morning, Rhey.” Voice low, rough and carried more than a touch of affectionate amusement.

It was a simple request - get behind me - and without hesitation Rhéla positioned herself at his back. There was a flutter in his chest as she fell into the role easily. He silently worked his way down the main hallway. The light-hearted, albeit a bit charged, moment from before faded to the back of his mind the deeper they delved into the darkness. Muscles tensed, jaw clenched. Constantly watching, listening. Waiting for any sign of who fired the gun they heard mere minutes earlier.

T | Rhéla Ghilain x Geldauran | 639 Words

“Geldy!” Rhéla practically yelled his name with the broadest grin he had ever seen, causing a few of the other patrons to look around wildly. Her nose flushed red, eyes glassy from whatever - and however much - alcohol she had consumed. Vorgoth, as was his way, stood next to her like a statue, his hand (if one could call it that) resting on the bar top.

Rhéla wobbled in place as she tried to slide off the bar stool, Vorgoth’s hand reaching out to steady her. He spoke, voice deep but loud even among the heavy chatter that filled the room as Geldauran wove through the dense throng of people, “LITTLE PYRE IS INTOXICATED.”

Well, that much was obvious.

When Geldauran finally reached the duo, his face was instantly squished by Rhéla’s palms. He could smell a mixture of liquor and elfroot wafting from her, her lips curled up. She gave him a small grin. The one she usually reserved for when they were home, and alone, not in a bar full of people. The blush crept further across her nose and down her cheeks. Rhéla’s voice dropped low and husky, “You’re so fuckin’ handsome, Geldy.”

Yeah, she was real drunk.

His laugh was deep, rumbling as she stumbled into him, her legs shaky like a faun. Vorgoth hovered, though it was difficult to see what sort of expression sat underneath the hood - did Vorgoth even have a face? He had to, right? Geldauran tried not to think too hard about it, or contemplate about how weird it was that his girlfriend’s best friend was an unknown entity that spent most of their time with corpses, “SHE REQUIRES WATER.”

With Rhéla unable to hold herself up properly, Geldauran swept her off her feet into a bridal carry. One arm under her knees, the other supporting her back; he held her close to his chest, giving Vorgoth a small nod, “She’s gonna need a bit more than that, but I got ‘er.” A soft hum from Rhéla in response, who had buried her face in his neck. He could feel the vibration from her lips across his skin.

He pushed away the flare of heat in his stomach, voice rough, "C'mon, drunky. You gonna be a good girl for me?" Geldauran's voice a bit too hoarse - he knew what he was doing.

After he said his goodbyes - and Rhéla , well… attempted some form of goodbye that came out as drunk babbling - he carried her out of the bar.

Once the cold air hit their faces, she announced - loudly, “I am not a BRIDE, Geldy.” His expression turned perplexed as he slowed to a stop, Rhéla wiggling in his arms. Her hooded hazel eyes looked up at him, brow furrowed, looking as defiant as a toddler with a right opinion.

“Gonna need to catch me up, Rhey.” His drawl, thick and low. He stood in the middle of the sidewalk with the intoxicated elf in his arms as other people meandered by.

“You’re carrying me like a bride.” She got the words out through a series of mumbles and single hiccup before trying to adjust her position in his grasp. His hands moved double time to make sure she didn’t fall out of his arms and onto the cement below them.

When she finally settled, her arms draped around his shoulders, the tips of their noses brushed as she let out a soft giggle - it forced a smirk to tug at the edges of his own lips. Rhéla wrapped her legs around his waist, his hands moving instantly to secure her by her thighs.

Geldauran's breath caught in his throat as she ran her nose along his, pressing a gentle kiss on the corner of his lips.

“That’s... much better.” She slurred out. “I want to go home.”

And he did too.
