Its been awhile since I felt I had anything good enough to share but I figured for today, Rhea's birthday, I might as well share more of my Kingsman AU! Rhea and Felix being snarky with each other is so much fun to write.
“We’re here.” Felix turned off the car and leaned back in his seat, facing Rhea. It took a moment for her to register his words, but when she finally looked at him, the glaze in her eye was gone. “Now don’t make me regret bringing you here. You are to grab only the essentials, what is absolutely necessary—” “I know what essential means,” Rhea interrupted, shooting him a deadly glare. Felix ignored her. “—And then we are leaving. If there is any sign of danger, I’m getting you out of there. Don’t care if you aren’t finished. Understand?” Rhea searched his face, though he was unsure what she was looking for. “I understand,” she finally said. They made their way out of his car and through a back door into her apartment building. The elevator ride was as tense as the car ride, but much to Felix’s relief, uneventful. The elevator opened up to a single hallway with doors lining the walls on each side and a window at the very end. He could just make out that the hallway didn’t end but lead to more walk space leading further into the building. He followed Rhea to the 2nd door on the right, already making up an exit route should things go south. A soft click was followed by the sound of the door opening behind him. “Ok remember,” Felix began, but Rhea quickly cut off him. “Yes, yes.” She said, making her way into the apartment. “The more you talk means the longer we’ll be here, wouldn’t you say. Agent.” She said the last word in a mocking tone. Felix ground his teeth but held his tongue. Champagne would be so proud of him for the restraint he was holding, Felix thought.
