However I loved Alessandra Stathos who is basically a character like this. But she is so well written that I loved her and wanted her to succeed in getting power.

The Shadows Between Us is described as a slytherin romance and I whole heartly agree with that description.

People also say its enemies-to lovers but I disagree with this. I would say it more fake dating (or in this case fake courting) with a dash of murder.

It's always blown my mind how one person can make you feel so beautiful and yet can make you believe you are the most hideous creature they've laid hands to. That they can make you feel so wanted and needed, and outed in the very next moment. How they can hold you together and be your anchor, and within one sentence shatters you into a million pieces and set them all loose to the sea, never to be put back together again. I can smile all night at your texts, and the next night cry into the depths of my pillow well into the morning.
