I see people complain about rheumatologists all the time and all I think is that I cannot wait to be a rheumatologist consultant that actually listens and can relate to my patients. I'm an overly empathetic person as it is, but the thing I've found myself too with most rheumatologists is that they just don't goddamn listen. Listening is the absolute key to most diagnosis' (which is why I'm mostly in diagnosis limbo half the time). Damn, I just wanna be a good doctor for good people (and bad people, everyone deserves to have a good doctor). It's the whole reason I'm going into this field. I saw a thing I didn't like about my consultants and wanted to make that better. Maybe not for me, but for people like me in the future.
