Rhiannon loves farmers market season. It’s exhausting, of course—her usual shifts as well as harvesting and preparing produce, and now cooking and packaging food, too. But it’s worth it. It’s all so much easier, too, with Liam helping her. He’s a good boy. It breaks her heart to see him so upset to be left behind.
It’s the least she can do, really, to make sure his gift makes it to his new friend.
Even with Rhiannon, Dami, and Makenzie manning the stall together, it’s been busy. Things are just starting to slow down when she sees Callisto approach, and Rhiannon immediately perks up. “Hi, sweetheart!” she says, doing her best to reach for the carefully wrapped box of pasties without looking away from the woman. “I’ve got something right here for you. From Liam,” she announces, handing it over with a big smile.
