Thank you for being my Music Man and for making me smile with every song you sing. Your music is makes me happy, partly because I can see how happy it makes you. So, my present for you is a Gibson Hummingbird Acoustic/Electric Guitar Vintage Sunburst, as it is very wordily named. It’s only appropriate that the guitar that I thought would best suit you is called Sunburst. You are like my own personal sun, warm and inviting and brilliant. Thank you for being my sun and chasing away every dark cloud. I love you.

Headcanon: Rhiannon finds it easier to bond with Connor’s cousins even more so than her own. Because of that, and after a few white girl jokes, she was accepted easily and was quickly able to partake in his family’s holiday festivities such as getting drunk with the cousins and singing. One time, she had even heard an exchange between Connor and one of his cousins.

Our first Valentine’s Day as a couple! Long time coming, huh? How exactly do we do this? I don’t think I’m gonna be good at this Valentine’s thing. Maybe you can teach me. I love you, sweetheart. I think you’ll like your gifts. They are very… fitting.

As tradition dictates:

"Oh, wait! One more thing!" Connor said. He grabbed a box from the side table next to him. He handed it to her. Inside was a bracelet, engraved with "13.1667° N, 59.5500° W”. On the inside, there was a date.

"A reminder of our first kiss. The coordinates are Barbados."

Rhiannon grinned as she pulled her mug out of the small bag, moving aside the red colored tissue paper. Queen. That's what it said and she was suddenly reminded of that one line from that one Taylor Swift song. 

"Cherry lips. Crystal skies. I could show you incredible things. Stolen kisses, pretty lies. You're the king baby I'm your queen," she sang--holding up the mug near her face when she got to the word queen, giving a flirtatious wink while doing so. She laughed at herself a little. She had a feeling Con would like that little bit. Taylor Swift was his favorite after all.

After her mini concert, she moved on to the next gift; which she knew had to be a t-shirt. It was tradition. She held it up, smiling. "I love you," she said, looking over at him before pulling it on just to see how it would look. "What do you think? I think anti-social looks good on me."

She raised an eyebrow as he excitedly grabbed a small box from the side table. He was quick to put it in her hands and she didn't waste any time in flipping the top up. When the blonde saw the bracelet, her jaw dropped. It was beautiful.

"A reminder of our first kiss. The coordinates are Barbados," he explained.

She looked up at him, amazed at how thoughtful the gift was and how amazing the giver of the gift was. She put the bracelet on and pulled him in for a kiss, her hand gently pulling on the collar of his shirt. "You are amazing, Connor Dean. I love you," she said pulling away a bit but making sure that he was still within lips reach. She kissed him again. "Oh and by the way, you do Valentine's Day pretty damn well. Just thought you should know."
