Hi Readers! We’re so excited for our first official list! This week is one of the most popular genres in our fandom - College Rhink.

Please note these are all based on the dates of completion and/or the last update. While most are completed or are WIPs, you might come across an uncompleted fic. This list also does not include writings exclusively on Tumblr, or other sites, so please send us those recs!

Below the cut, you will find the top five kudos’d fics from the years 2015-2020. At the end you will also find our librarians’ recommendations.

Oh, hi there.

Are you a fan of Rhett and Link? Rhink? Fanfiction?

Cool. Then we’re here for you.

It’s incredibly easy to be blown away by the sheer talent and volume with which Rhink fanfic writers...well, write. Oftentimes, there’s something we read that sticks with us long after the last word. And sometimes, a little help is needed to find that fic again.

So that’s why we’re here. The idea is that we (meaning Mick, @rhinkipoo and @soho-x) can help be your Rhink librarians. Need help finding a fic? We’re on it. Need some recommendations? We’ll pull together that list for you. Author spotlights? Hell yeah we can do that.

Not only that, if there’s ever any general prompts or requests for something, send it our way. We can curate those on one giant masterlist and if you decide to tackle one of those prompts, let us know and we’ll tag it.

But above all, we just want to give all the love and appreciation to the Rhink fic writers for the incredible worlds and stories you give us.

How long you’ve been a fan: I became a fan in the summer of 2019, so just slightly under a year.

Favorite fic: Getting Off - @linkslipssinkships

What fic pulled you into the fandom/shipping?: the first fic I read in this fandom was Apartment 69 by @apparentlynotreallyfinnish. I wasn’t even that into RandL at the time. I was just curious if people did write GMM fic. I basically never turned back after that.

What trope is your biggest weakness?: Enemies to Lovers/Slow Burns

Do you write?: I do, much to my own surprise

First fic written: Thursdays

Fic you’re most proud of: Never Have I Ever because I think it’s the best thing I’ve written, and Rhinestone Cowboy, because I actually finished it.

Whose perspective do you tend to write from/who do you prefer to write?: I think I write most from Rhett’s perspective. I think I write Link more accurately, though.

Why do you like Rhink fic so much?: I love the idea that these two built their lives around each other so completely and entirely, that no matter what scenario they may have found themselves in, they’d always have found their way to each other.

How long you’ve been a fan: I was introduced Nov 2016, but made my rhink tumblr April 2017

Favorite fic: There are so many! A Perfect Arrangement, Lustre, the Missed Calls series, He Is So Pretty series

What fic pulled you into the fandom/shipping?: I regularly checked new gifs/drama in the rhink tags, but stumbled upon two fics (I can’t remember which came first) - Unmasked and Greater Than The Sum

What trope is your biggest weakness?: Enemies to Lovers. I live for it every single time.

Do you write?: I do! Not as frequently as I used to, but I am trying to get back into it.

First fic written: Ten Years Gone

Fic you’re most proud of: It might actually be LNK-061. I like the softness I was able to capture in this little one shot. :)

Whose perspective do you tend to write from/who do you prefer to write?: As I look back through my fics, probably 60-70% it’s from Rhett’s perspective. Unplanned XD

Why do you like Rhink fic so much?: I love their chemistry. I’m in love with their love ❤
