messing around and wanted to draw Icnoyotl as a rhinotaur. Of course Smol and Shrieking snuck her way in too.
Monday Races: Rhinotaur
This time I go over a rather cool suggestion from a Twitter person’s campaign! The Rhinotaur, enemy of the Minotaur, and generally awesome rhino creature!
Rhinotaur 10 Points
“Tough gray hide, massive goring horn, and a fiery temper. Rhinotaur are dangerous foes and loyal friends. Show them a Minotaur if you wish to provoke them quicker, some eons old feud burning as hot as ever.”
Attributes: ST +2 (Size Modifier -10%) [18]
Secondary Characteristics: SM +1
Advantages: DR 1 [5], Striker (Impaling) [8], Temperature Tolerance 2 [2]
Disadvantages: Bad Temper [-10], Intolerance (Minotaur) [-3], Restricted Diet (Herbivore) [-10]
What are the Rhinotaur?
A race of humanoid rhinos in short, perhaps born of the same magics which the Minotaur hail from. Around seven to eight foot tall, and weighing over three hundred pounds the Rhinotaur tower over Humans. They possess many of the same features of their more primitive kin, a large horn, tough skin, resistance to weather and great strength.
Who are the Rhinotaur?
A proud people, Rhinotaur are not to be insulted or looked down upon. Their major downfall an innate hatred to Minotaur, often resulting in bloodshed or at least angry outbursts. Most Rhinotaur attempt to solve things in the most simple of ways, not out of lower intelligence, just a practical group of people.
Rhinotaur Culture
From a grand empire, almost as old as their race, the Rhinotaur fight to this day with the Minotaur. Some say that the same magics birthed both the Minotaur and Rhinotaur conflict between the two a desire to prove which are superior, others think it dates back to some great betrayal which neither remember but can never forgive. The Rhinotaur are ruled over by a strict castes and clans, an emperor from a royal bloodline over all.
Rhinotaur Callings
Their physical attributes bring many Rhinotaur to warrior professions. <any also are attracted to the scientific fields, crafting marvelous devices for the pride of their race or researching new medicines and treatments!
Kotoko 145 Points
“A rather cerebral member of the Rhinotaur, Kotoko lives for the thrill of invention. Crafting many unique, and practical, devices for his people. The personal favorite of Kotoko, and still a prototype, is the Boltcaster, a brass crank cylinder which discharges lightning! Constantly tweaking and upgrading the weapon, the Boltcaster may never be truly complete.”
Attributes: ST 12 [0]; DX 11 [20]; IQ 12 [40]; HT 10 [0]
Secondary Characteristics: Dmg 1d-1/1d+2; BL 29 lbs.; HP 12 [0]; Will 12 [0]; Per 12 [0]; FP 11 [3]; Basic Speed 5.50 [0]; Basic Move 5 [0]; SM +1
Advantages: Boltcaster [7], Fast Gadgeteer [50], Rhinotaur [10]
Disadvantages: Pacifist (Reluctant Killer) [-5], Obsession (Perfect the Boltcaster) [-10]
Primary Skills: Engineer (Clockwork) (H) IQ+2 [12]-14; Engineer (Small Arms) (H) IQ+2 [12]-14
Secondary Skills: Armory (Guns) (A) IQ [2]-12; Beam Weapons (Rifle) (E) DX+1 [2]-12
Background Skills: Fast Talk (A) IQ [2]-12
Boltcaster [7]: “A brass cylinder mounted on wooden crossbow stock, with a complicated crank system built into the side of the metal. Cranking the device generates electrical energy, once enough has been built up it is released through a copper rod which is pushed partially out of the barrel. A devastating, but slow working, weapon.” Notes: Uses Beam Weapon (Rifle), weighs 20 lbs.
Advantages: Innate Attack-Burning 3d (Breakable DR 5 -15%, Can Be Stolen -30% Surge +20%, Takes Extra Time 8 Seconds -40%) [7]
Important Possessions: Boltcaster, Portable Tool Kit (Armory)
Tactics: Kotoko’s normal tactic is quite simple, find cover and ready the Boltcaster, usually by the distraction of other party members. Sometimes triggering environmental effects, such as using the lightning to start fires, or in areas with complex machinery shutting it down through the surge effect. If Kotoko has plenty of time he will mod his weapon to beat that situation, using spare points and gadgeteering.

The first appearance of transgender cross-dressing speedster super hero — Drag Racer. Since her first appearance, she has become a favorite character for both Hero Happy Hour creators. Drag Racer has popped up earlier in a few one-shot comic strips here on the site, but this is her first “official” appearance. Drag Racer also plays an important role in Shark Knight Surfaces.
