Matunuck Oyster Bar, Wakefield RI.

My favorite restaurant in Rhode Island never disappoints 😉

Everything I ordered:

Seared SCALLOPS -ginger soba noodles, bok-choy, shiitake mushrooms, crispy shallots, XO sauce.

LOBSTER PIZZA-Naan bread, lobster, mascarpone, arugula, gouda, prosciutto, mozzarella, white truffle.

OYSTER TRIO-two Grilled, two Bourbon, two Rockefeller style oysters.

CLAMS & LINGUINE RI- littlenecks, white wine, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, fresh herbs.

And of course Oysters for an appetizer🦪

For Dessert (because I never say no to dessert 🍮) Chocolate Bread Pudding!

I have reviewed this restaurant a few times and I always give it a star studded review! This 4th of July weekend was no different! I loved everything about all of our dishes.

The oysters are always fresh, the seafood is always prepped or cooked perfectly and the atmosphere is friendly, nice and fun! Everyone is there for a delicious meal and to have a great time with food 😉

If you are ever in RI please do yourself a favor and get reservations at @matunuckoysterbar! Once you eat there once you will be craving more 😉

Based on presentation and taste of all our food at @matunuckoysterbar I would rate this restaurant a 10 out of 10.

Greenwich Bay Oyster Bar, East Greenwich RI.

I am a sucker for Buck a Shuck 😉 Greenwich Bay Oyster Bar has some of the best oysters I have ever had. They are fresh, and very clean. Whoever shucked these oysters did an amazing job because there was no shells in them either!! And look how pretty they look on the tray 😂

Parkside Rotisserie and Bar, Providence RI.

Moules En Frites - PEI Mussels, Vidalia Onions, Cherry Tomatoes, Bacon Lardons, Smoked Tomato Butter, Matchstick Fries

Providence has so many amazing restaurants it really is hard to choose one to go to! Federal Hill has amazing Italian Restaurants, downtown has many delicious burger, Greek, Korean and Indian restaurants. You can find anything you want to eat in this small state!

Parkside has amazing food, whether it is seafood, steak or chicken you will have a delicious meal. The mussles at this restaurant are delicious. It was a little different to have the matchstick fries on them, but they were nice and crispy and gave the dish a nice crunch. The mussles are fresh and the cherry tomatoes and bacon added to the light taste of the mussles.

Based on presentation and taste of this appetizer I would rate this dish a 7 out of 10.

Rhody Roots, Warren RI.

Lobster Roll- Butter poached lobster with a Meyer lemon, tarragon aioli on a brioche bun with greens.

Once a food truck, @rhodyrootsri is now a restaurant in Warren RI. Named Rhode Island Monthly’s Best New Restaurant in 2020 I knew I had to try this restaurant ASAP! They offer gluten free, dairy free and vegan options, so there is something on the menu for everyone! They are located in downtown Warren, which is a cute little seaside town. The downtown is full of shops, restaurants, a cider shop and smoothly shop.

The lobster roll was incredible! The tarragon aioli was a taste I did not know would pair so well with lobster. They give you an abundance of lobster in the roll. The meat is fresh and tastes delicious. The #lobstermayoratio was perfect because there was no Mayo just that aioli sauce. I can’t wait to go back and try more things on the menu! If you are in the Warren area please check out a wonderful local restaurant 🦞

Based on presentation and taste of the Rhody Roots lobster roll I would rate this a 10 out of 10.

The Beach House, Bristol RI.

Sesame Encrusted Ahi Tuna- seaweed salad, wasabi aioli, Asian BBQ

The Beach House has done it again! Every time I go to this restaurant the food keeps getting better and better! I have reviewed this restaurant before and I never have a bad thing to say. Last night a group of 6 of us went out and we sat inside by the fireplace and had a wonderful dinner. We were there for hours and the staff just let us enjoy and relax. Even though it is chilly out the outdoor seating area does have blankets for you to wrap yourself if you get too cold.

The Ahi Tuna was delicious and the portions were huge. For sides I got the Brussel Sprouts and mashed potatoes. The tuna was cooked perfectly and flaked off when your went to cut it. The seaweed salad have the tuna a very fresh taste while the Asian BBQ sauce was a little sweet. It was a perfect combination.

Based on presentation and taste of this dish I would rate it a 9 out of 10.

Aunt Carrie’s, Narragansett RI.

It’s not a lobster roll, it’s lobster on Aunt Carrie’s Homemade Bread 🦞

It’s not that I don’t like Aunt Carrie’s it’s just that I prefer Iggy’s lobster rolls.

Aunt Carrie’s offers lobster in a way I have never had it, on homemade bread. I got the hot lobster sandwich served with butter! The lobster is very fresh and it tastes delicious. I like the option of it on homemade bread because I feel like there is less calories and you can taste the lobster and butter better. This is a delicious option if you don’t want to eat a whole roll. The lettuce under the lobster gives the sandwich a nice refreshing crunch.

Whether you like Iggy’s or Aunt Carrie’s both places have great food and a fun, relaxed atmosphere. They both are great places to head after the beach or after a beautiful day in Point Judith!

Based on presentation and taste the lobster sandwich I rate this dish a 8 out of 10.
