3 years ago today I met up with Rhowan James in what was to be a fashion show in NYC but it was cancelled. Nonetheless we still met up. We walked and talked about everything. Didn’t even realized we walked for over three hours. From the South Street Seaport all the way to Times Square. We ate at a restaurant called Bon Chon on 39th St. that had amazing Korean Fried Chicken. We then sat again for hours talking about fashion. He showed me his look book for the first time and that’s when I fell in love with his brand and told him anything he needs let me know. He needed help with his website and launch his online store and at the time I worked for Shopify. And the rest they say is history! Thank you Rhowan for many late nights, early mornings, road trips to NYC and Montreal. The 3 hours of sleep before your *TOM shows, packing and stacking my car like Tetris and hauling about 15 garment bags up and down 4 flights of stairs. Thank you for taking me on your journey as your assistant/head stylist and everything in between. And introducing me to some amazing people.
