🛼 Roller skates procured. Class 1 of 6 complete. 🛼

I started the beginners class from the beginning (last time I dropped into a random class in the middle of the ‘semester’), and I’m glad I did.

This week we learned skating posture, how to fall without hurting ourselves, skating forward, T stops and bubbles.

Got a lot of practicing to do before the next class ‘cause I’m still hella shaky on these wheels, need a lil more hip flexibility, and need about 10-12 hours in my skates to break them in.

First skating lesson down.

I’m not confident on four wheels yet, but I’ll get there. I’m determined to skate well and learn to skate backwards by the summer.

Savanah Georgia skate

I skated in Savannah Georgia last night. People there were very nice and liked my style a few of them knew I was from Detroit because I sliiiiiiiiiide. :)
