last competition in home country, I haven't competed in Slovakia since then, only abroad.

Hello! You might've noticed that I've been inactive for the last couple of weeks and here is the explanation: I had a laser eye surgery. It basically meant that I couldn't see for some time and had to relearn how to focus my eyes, so no reading or screen time for me.
But how is this relevant to my blog? Because until now I had to wear glasses if I wanted sharp vision and glasses plus RG don't mix well. So I trained without them for years (first prescription came in 2011 and i only started rg in 2006). You can imagine that apparatus work was really hard for me, especially risks were almost impossible. I always missed by centimeters simply because I couldn't determine how far the apparatus is. If I managed to catch a risk I did happy dances and everyone was impressed. I slowly learnt how to throw in such precise way that I caught every other time. It is hard to train a sport that relies primarily on vision while being half-blind.
Last week I had the surgery and everything is almost healed now. As it was Easter hols here, there were no trainings and the first will be on Friday. You have no idea how much I am excited to go there and experience the sport that is my life with full vision. (actually I am unsure if me losing apparatus was due to my blindness or me being a sack of potatoes but we will see). It will be hopefully one of most memorable and happy trainings. I will write a post about the feelings and differences-if I will feel any-sometime during the weekend.
