Visited Renko today, gave her and Gâteau their Christmas Presents and I stayed to chat with her a while. Gâteau sat in my lap as we talked about various things. I don’t exactly remember half of the things we talked about but I do remember she asked about the small limp I had. And I thought I she wouldn’t have noticed, so I had to tell her that bit of unpleasantness. I hate seeing her all worried about me like that... though I did manage to recover the festive and cheerful mood when I had  her and Gâteau open their presents. I wish I could visit more often but Duty calls and I must abide. Though I do cherish the moments I do have with my friend and her adorable dog.

The young woman is given a slow once over-or, at least her outfit is. Sure, there were more embellishments in the jacket of the feminine kind, and the color was most definitely different (no doubt to match her hair color), but there was no denying the remarkable similarities the suit had to his own.

“How curious. If I didn’t know better, I’d say that I have a fan.” He remarks with a tip of his hat and trademark grin. It certainly wouldn’t be the first time that had happened anyway. “But whatever the case may be, mademoiselle, I like your style.”

“There’s no need to get so angry, it was just some light-hearted ribbing. You’re actually a very lovely dog.” Boy those teeth look sharp, she doesn’t want that bark-a-thon to become a bite-a-thon.

But if that’s really what Yukari considers ‘light-hearted’, that’s probably a cause for concern in itself.
