poem #01

let me discover my dreams

let me run like grass and grow like lighting

let me dream for one last night and look at the starless sky like a blanket over my head

let me miss my youth one last time and mourn the company i never met

let me laugh like a child and live life before

I have to stoplet me breathe if it's the last thing I do

let me fly and spread my wings so I feel the wind on the backs of my knees

let me come where I can follow,lead me to the places I'd wanna be

let me hold my mother before I do

let me tell my father I care

let me kiss my favorite mouth without any jeering

as wilde said love is a sacrament best taken kneeling

let me out of my mind,let me be perceived

let me take love as i would receive

let me dance barefoot while the music drowns the voices out

let me dream one last time before the ink runs out
