FINALLY DONE WITH THE REFS FOR THE RIAWIMTV CAST. the main cast, at least. laurentia and nathalie appear equally as often in regular dresses as they do in the school uniform but drawing eleanore's outfit made me so mad i refused to put myself through it again.
[as always, if anyone is curious about their lore, feel free to dm me for a link to the Riawimtv Bible 👍]
i originally replied to this just as. well. replies but ive decided that Actually this is lore relevant enough to get its own actual post JSKJDFH
i dont have That much to say [yet <- mischievously] since they very much are the side cast of the side cast but: you see, you know how there's kind of a phenomenon sometimes in which people with several children have the youngest one be the most normal, because the previous were... "test runs"?
this is the inverse of what happened to the anderfrei siblings. this is because, with political tensions rising in the kingdom, idonea and percival have both gotten a lot more... On Edge as of late. in effect, what they see as "imparting knowledge onto their youngest child in a way they were too inexperienced to do with the elder ones" is actually just giving each consecutive kid a stronger flavor of a similar mental illness.
as such, edgar is surprisingly easygoing in comparison to the others; something that is especially useful given that he's the primary heir to the family. eleanore isn't too close with him; given his aforementioned status, combined with the fact that the last time she had any real, regular contact with him was 6 years ago, made it that- while loving- the gap between them was always quite large, and only got worse when edgar got married and moved even further away at age 21 [so, when eleanore was 14]. even so, however rare their interactions may be, they like each other quite a lot! edgar, being idonea's favorite child, often acted as a mediating party when lea got in trouble as a kid [and trust me, she got into a lot of trouble.]
elaine and eugene aren't actually creepy twins, but they find it funny when people perceive them as such. they're both exceptional mages, although not better than [pre-death/unrestrained post-death] eleanore, which always hurt eugene's ego specifically. elaine never minded it; from all of them, she's the closest to eleanore, visiting her very often even nowadays. they also keep regular correspondence.
elaine was also the one who took care of eleanore the most when she was ill, especially after the point at which idonea withdrew, accepting the fact that eleanore can't be brought back, and after percival started coming home less and less as he searched for a way to defy this fate. i wouldn't call her a gentle person, though.
eugene, however, is a gentle person.... too gentle, his parents say, and mean "lacking a backbone". he was always the one to be bossed around; they didn't know, of course, that as a reward for being "bossed around", his siblings also kept owing him small favors.
eveline was 3 years old when eleanore became a vampire, and- to both of their dismays- idonea specifically isn't keen on letting eveline be influenced by her older sister. [or let her know about her affliction, crucially. eveline knows something happened to eleanore, but she doesn't know what.] idonea became... generally paranoid about her family's wellbeing, after that whole ordeal.
eveline, as such, is the most sheltered... the loneliest, too, but she doesn't know it [she, unlike her siblings, has no point of reference to what its like to not be lonely]. idonea's second favorite child... constantly infantilized by her, too. her mother refuses to accept the fact that while still a child, yes, she's a very deeply curious being...
hm. how much would yall [read: the 2 people who checked out the riawimtv doc] hate me if i added a section on the literal same day that i finished the thing. becaaaaause there's 2 interactions between chloris and sophie which i omitted [one bc its only half canon and the second bc its during a time where theres supposed to be limited insight into chloris's pov] but now that i think about it. i dont think chloris and sophie's dynamic can really be understood without them. or at least the second one.
