Warm. It's warm, suddenly, and it's nice. Sleepy murmurs fall from his mouth as he relaxes further, the hare shifting slightly against the cushions beneath him and subconsciously tugging the blanket tighter around him. Her soft offer isn't enough to stir him, despite the way his ear gives a halfhearted twitch in her direction as she speaks-- not when he's so out of it. Neither is the smell of the apple, nor the juice that she leaves him. Surely, he'll appreciate it when he wakes up with cotton mouth . . . eventually. Probably.

Though knowing him, Jax will only find it suspicious and wonder what's wrong with the items for someone to leave them for HIM.

Sniffles, pawing aggressively at his red rimmed eyes. Some of his popcorn spilled in the mele of pulling the blanket away from his folded legs so he could wipe his face with it, and sits in a spilled curtain across them and onto the couch around him. He never bothered to clean it up. Set off in a room down one of the rabbit hole halls -- heh, get it? -- the movie room is an inner sanctum, a room the others either don't know about, or don't care enough about to come to often, and one that Jax takes advantage of often, particularly when he can't sleep.

None of the movies are recent. Most of them are 'Caine Originals' like Cainablanca, Cainanator and The Wonderful Bubble of Oz, but there's a few actual original pieces that Jax has found aren't so terrible if he's delusional enough from his lack of sleep.

This just so happens to have been one of those, and despite the blank faces of the mannequins acting as the main characters, Jax had gotten swept up in the story of it all and didn't realize he was crying until the end. That's, of course, when his ears twitch, catching the sound of the door creaking open more-- did he leave it open in the first place???-- and he whips around in his seat, forcing a grin on his face as he faces . . . Ribbit?! "Don't you know it's rude to sneak in on people uninvted, Frog Legs? And it's past your bedtime. What ever will your parents think?"
