No matter what people say about it I'll always have a place in my heart for Invader Zim.
invader zim is one of those shows where you really understand it more when you watch it as an adult

Damn my boy Lars keeps getting manhandled in this AU. Far cry from space captain of the stars in the show.
yeah lmao when he’s ACTUALLY put up against gems, he’s gonna get his shit handed to him. He’s resilient, but he’s not strong!
...
not at first anyway
An accurate description of Nier: Automata's gameplay is that it's like a Devil May Cry game with rpg elements like levels, upgrades, side quests, equipment, etc. It's also got one of the best stories in JRPGs imo.
Your explanation hinges on the assumption that I have ever played a Devil May Cry game.
I have not.
I don't know about you but I like how Steven and co don't have one size fits all philosophies. Lapis clearly hates Earth and no amount of singing can just change that. Lars has found a new purpose AFTER leaving Earth despite Peridot saying Earth sets you free. You get the feeling that just because the good guys say it, it doesn't mean everyone is gonna follow suit like it's gospel.
I think everyone in the show has their own personal journey and unique challenges that they face. What works for one person may not work for someone else. So yeah, I also appreciate there’s no one-size-fits-all philosophy here.
I have a sneaking suspicion Steven is gonna regularly pop by to Homeworld to see how Lars is doing and he'll be like "Yeah I just had this sick fight with Aquamarine and Topaz" and Steven just goes "Cool." and goes back to Earth to help Vidalia with her gambling addiction or something.
Not sure how to feel about this.
The worst part about SU crit rants is that they have to make liking the show some kind of moral failing. You can't just not care for the show for whatever reason you have to be objectively correct in not liking a cartoon about magic rocks.
youll never win, the su crits have the moral high ground
It's less "pushed back" and more that episodes were gonna be shown early from cnla and they nipped that in the bud. This wouldn't be so bad since the episodes are coming out May 7th but then they just dropped a video that blatantly had massive spoiler footage. What's worse is that I believe in a tweet cn officially said that video wasn't supposed to be put out till July anyway.
meanwhile at cn hq: DO NOT PUBLISH White Diamond is actually Onion! DO NOT PUBLISH
Holy shit I check my dash just once tonight before bed and I see you make a fucking Wow Wow Wubbzy reference in 2018 I'm gonna actually turn to dust and disappear into the wind
my power grows stronger with each dated cartoon reference that i make
