THINGS WE FVCK WITH : CROSS PROCESSING

Cross Processing is an old trick where you develop film in an alternative chemical solution that is formulated for another film type ie. processing slide film (e6) in negative film chemicals (c41). Usually, it provides a unique look with plenty of unpredictable elements making it a bit nerve racking but worthwhile in most cases. 

The above photos of Stephan, Seb and Deigo were shot on an old broken Yashica T4 with Fuji Color Slide film and developed at the local 1-hr (C41) lab.

Yumi Tsukuda visited Long Beach for 3 months this winter and spent the majority of his time out in the evening / early morning with the Primo crew working on the upcoming Midnight Creatures DVD. This can-cant foot plant over tooth is one of many unexpected maneuvers we all had the pleasure of witnessing. My flash was acting up so the photo is not exactly as intended but any photo of Yumi is a good one in my book.  Pic: Rich Hirsch
