Rich Moore's philosophy on creating Wreck-It Ralph
He's right since later on the movie is beloved for its quality plot and fleshed-out characters. WIR strays away from the tried and true musical format of Disney films.
It's neat that my 32nd birthday coincides with the 10th anniversary of the US release of Zootopia. Not only is it a powerful Disney movie that's among my all-time favs, but also a bold milestone in furry acceptance for our global culture.

In honor of #Disneyland70, Imagineerings put a new moving window themed around "ZOOTOPIA".
The window is at Main Street USA. The window is based on the Little Rodentia scene from the 2016 film and it includes a easter egg from Zootopia+.
Rich Moore, we love you. You gave us Wreck-It Ralph, the first - and only - movie that made me feel Real and Alive. We know that if you were in charge of RBTI, it wouldn't have been the shit show it was. It would've been another banger that would be a timeless treasure like Wreck-It Ralph.

Kinda sad we didn't get to see more of Fix-It Felix Jr. using his hammer. I find Felix's magic hammer super-interesting in its properties:
It can fix anything that's broken with just a tap or two.
It can heal a person who's injured just by tapping them.
If something is already fixed, the hammer will only fortify it and make it stronger.
I remember Rich Moore mentioning a long time ago he wanted to show Felix's father, the original owner of the hammer, in a future sequel to Wreck-It Ralph. Too bad that didn't happen... Rich said he wanted Ron Howard to play Fix-It Felix Sr., and I can totally see it. It would have been so cool to see Felix's dad wielding his hammer... maybe Felix has his version and his dad has his own and they could have teamed up together...
