The entire song doesn't fit Dr. Dick, but this line in particular has always popped at me referring more towards Dr. Guy himself rather than his outlook on society. He thinks that's already shot to hell, so it can't do much more than slowly rot away. Not that he really wants to face the fact that he isn't stable himself, but....

Okay, re-reading this part of the song, this actually fits perfectly his feelings towards Dr. Sophia Lamb. Needless to say, he doesn't like her all that much.
