One thing that annoys me about phm art posts is that they assume that the eridian language would sound as broken as it does using the translator. Bear in mind, I haven't read the book, so that might be how it is in there.
This annoys me because there was a post that asked a Russian why they said "get in car" while the proper way to say that in English would be to have the determiner "the" before car. However, Russian has "Тоска", which roughly translates to "a deep, often clueless, existential anguish or melancholy."
And that is beautiful! There are, of course, many such instances of this in multiple different languages.
My point is that Eridian language could be incredibly complex. Hell, it could even sound something like what we often assume English during Shakespeare's time was like. But, instead, we get broken up English. And that saddens me a little.
Again, have not read the book, so I could be completely wrong here
Also, absolutely no hate to anyone at all
