BLANK plays BLANK, No. 13. I don’t know why I have this. Probably ran across it in a budget-price bin. It’s not really meant to be played like an album, I don’t think—it just veers around too wackily. Best use I found for it was pulling off tracks to put on mix tapes, back when I would stay up all night making mix tapes. Interesting, I guess, to hear how the song started as a ripoff of Chuck Berry’s “Havana Moon” (which Richard Berry, the song’s writer, pretty much admits on the liner notes by noting Chuck’s song “inspired” him) then turned into an icon of raw dumb rock. #louielouie #richardberry #chuckberry #blackflag! #riceuniversitymarchingowlband #thesandpipers #mixtapes (at Noblesville, Indiana) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9xMDqYgqH3/?igshid=1rmk7z6otxcd0
