Two very important events are taking place centered around police accountability, and the urgent need for continued community oversight of police reform. In Cleveland's Ward 15 Councilmen Matt Zone is hosting a Community Police Commission meeting on police accountability. This is important because #TamirRice was murdered by Cleveland police in ward 15 Councilmen Matt Zone's ward. Samaria Rice has continued to fight for accountability and justice for the murder of her son. Also in Euclid, residents are having a listening session to address the use of excessive force by Euclid police officers in their community. Euclid residents are reminded of how police interactions with black residents in their community has lead to the death of #LukeStewart and the brutal beating of #RichardHubbard.
