A few weeks ago I was in New York City on a freelance gig down in Soho. While I was there I decided to do a short portraiture project, part style, part stranger. This was a first for me asking strangers to pose, but it ended up being much easier than I thought it was gonna be. With a couple of minor exceptions, everyone was super nice about it even if they ended up declining to pose for me. I didn't get to talk to anyone for very long, but I did meet a few fellow photographers along the way including Richard Rothman, http://richardrothman.com/, whose the at the top of this post. Initially I was going to include full body shots in this project, but in the end, the close up shots were more interesting to me.
