Indulge in this decadent chicken dish featuring tender chicken breasts smothered in a rich Asiago cream sauce with earthy mushrooms. It's a savory delight perfect for a cozy dinner.
Ingredients: 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless. 1 tablespoon olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 cup mushrooms, sliced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 cup heavy cream. 1/2 cup Asiago cheese, grated. 1/4 cup chicken broth. 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped.
Instructions: Add salt and pepper to the chicken breasts. Put olive oil in a big skillet and heat it over medium-high heat. The chicken breasts should be cooked through and golden brown on both sides after being added to the pan. This should take about 6 to 8 minutes per side. Take it out of the pan and set it aside. Put garlic and mushrooms in the same pan. For about 4 to 5 minutes, cook until the mushrooms are soft. Add the chicken broth, heavy cream, and Asiago cheese. Mix the sauce and cheese together until it's smooth. Put the chicken breasts back in the pan and let them cook for another two to three minutes so that the flavors can mix. Add chopped parsley as a garnish before serving. Enjoy while hot!
