Don't be misled by this screwpine-like plant; it's not even a monocot. It actually belongs to the Ericaceae family, and it's endemic to Tasmania (there are 11 species in the genus of Richea, 9 of which are only found in Tasmania).

Hehe, it's very sweet of you to check in! Life has changed a lot for me in the past few years - moved back to the States, moved in with my girlfriend, married said girlfriend, bought a house, got a dog - but they've been changes for the better and life has been treating me well!
