Good to know I'm not too insufferable with the tags!! I really appreciate being able to read it, so thanks a lot for putting in the work! I actually own the book itself but have neither the proficiency nor the patience required to actually read it in Japanese so i'm only familiar with a couple key passages i made an effort to delve into (as well as the precious bits of info that were brought forth by the taleslations folks back in the day). Long story short I'm always excited when a new chapter pops up as it never fails to awaken the symphonia beast that resides within me; i hope you get sufficient supplies of time, drive and support to keep going for now.

Hehe, it's very sweet of you to check in! Life has changed a lot for me in the past few years - moved back to the States, moved in with my girlfriend, married said girlfriend, bought a house, got a dog - but they've been changes for the better and life has been treating me well!

Richea scoparia. This Tasmanian alpine Ericaceae bush relies on a skink (Niveoscincus microlepidotus) for pollination, despite the skink is not its pollinator. In order to protect the flowers from the harsh alpine conditions, its petals fused to form a structure called calyptra, which stops insects from entering the flowers. But the skink loves the nectar, and it removes the calyptra by eating it to reach the nectar, thus opening the flowers for the pollinators. Fascinating coevolution.
